Yea I know I know......it's a stupid question.

A friend of mine said to me recently: "What's wrong with the world today is that there are too many stupid people".  This video illustrates just that:

The Feminist Initiative party said the money represented the sum Sweden's women miss out on every minute in comparison to men.

The party hopes to win its first seat in parliament in elections on 19 September.

The notes, thrown on to a barbecue, had been donated by an advertising agency.

Ooh Moroccans get special treatment in Holland!

Now why in the world a police department would publicize something like this, is beyond me.  Especially if it's true.

 

According to AD,

The Police department in Gelderland-South is currently conducting an experiment, where different interrogation techniques are being applied to Moroccan suspects, in order to make them cooperate with authorities and make them confess faster.

With this new technique, a suspect gets picked up from his jail cell by someone in casual dress, who then takes him for interrogation to a detective dressed in suit and tie. 

The Detective doesn't get his own coffee, but has it brought to him.

 

Ooh fancy schmanzy!

 

With little tricks like this, the authorities hope to command more respect and induce a smoother interrogation process. 

 

Apparently Moroccans are generally so hardheaded, they're a tough nut to crack.

Fatwa on Lesbianism/Tomboys

The Malaysian term for lesbianism is "Pengkid", which is already considered a crime in Malaysia, but now the Malaysian Department of Islamic Development wants to add "tomboy" to its vague and confusing definition of "pengkid". 

According to these religious loons, women who dress and behave like men are more inclined to develop sexual desires for other women, therefore they must be stopped immediately to prevent them from committing "homosexual crimes".

Q: What is the actual definition of “pengkid”?
A: Pengkid refers to a married woman or maiden whose appearance or image is like that of a man. Although this also includes the dressing of the person and not just the way she behaves, the way of dressing is just one aspect of what makes a pengkid.

A woman may be dressed as a woman, but her behaviour may be like a man, or it might be a combination of this. She might also have a sexual desire for women.

This brings it “hampir” (close) to the practice of les bianism.

Q: Is it close to, or is it actually lesbianism?

A: We can’t say that all people who are pengkid are lesbians. That wouldn’t be right. That’s why I say it is “hampir”.

Hampir means she doesn’t do that act, but she is heading that way. For instance, Islam forbids people from coming close to zina. That means, not only is the act forbidden, but any act that may lead to the actual act is also forbidden.

I believe there is no religion that allows lesbianism or homosexuality. But anything that can drive or lead towards it should also be stopped. So, this is the culture that we are trying to stop.

Actually, we are trying to save these women (from be coming lesbians).

This silly fatwa has no leg to stand on as long as there is some serious doubt amongst Muslim scholars whether homosexuality is prohibited under Islamic law. Some scholars say that there is no mention of homosexuality or lesbianism, but there is mention of "liwat" (violent sodomy), which is forbidden in Islam. Some even argue that since a homosexual relationship/act isn't necessarily violent by definition, there is no reason to make it illegal.
