Love & Fear

There is only two energies that move and balance the universe: love & fear.

Fear only exists to make love stronger.

Love is the core essence of our being.

So, as far as I'm concerned hate is just a temporary emotion that doesn't stand a chance.

And to quote the great Charlie Chaplin:

"We think too much, and feel too little
More than machinery, we need humanity
More than cleverness, we need kindness and gentleness
Without these qualities life will be violent
And all will be lost."

Geert Wilders' dream of ethnic cleansing against Moroccans backfires

Dutch right-wing politician Geert Wilders' public incitement to hatred against Moroccans in the Netherlands can be viewed here:

 

Wilders asked his crowd of supporters at a recent election rally in The Hague: "Do you want more or less Moroccans in this city and in the Netherlands?"

The crowd responded: "Less, less, less!"

To which Wilders responded with a smirk: "Then we're going to arrange that."

To which the crowd responded with laughter.

The incident sparked wide-spread outrage and condemnation in the Netherlands as well as abroad.

As a result of his silly remarks, key members of his own party have been quitting on him left and right, while thousands of people have filed police reports against him and now at least two Dutch municipalities have followed suit as well, citing the call by UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon against racism and xenophobia:

“I call on all people, especially political, civic and religious leaders, to strongly condemn messages and ideas based on racism, racial superiority or hatred as well as those that incite racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance."

Meanwhile, a prominent Jewish organization has also expressed disgust with Wilders' comments, saying:

"This statement, even if it's coming from a friend of Israel, goes too far. This way, a group of Dutch people gets alienated, which evokes unpleasant memories in us."
