Geert Wilders gets death threat on video

This is one of the most vile, disgusting, hateful, violent videos I've ever seen. 

You don't need to know the Dutch language to understand what it's all about, the images leave no doubt that it clearly calls for the beheading of Dutch MP Geert Wilders, it glorifies Islamic terrorism, it incites violence, it promotes racism and it's a huge insult not just to the Moroccan national identity, but to the Dutch one as well.[NSFW]

I am really saddened by Benazir Bhutto's violent death. 

Despite the fact that she was just as corrupt and sinister as those she was up against in her quest for power, I don't think she deserved to die.  She was a product of her own society, merely doing her job as the embodiment of the dirty politics and the mobster mentality that gave birth to her country in the first place, the Islamist nation of Pakistan, "land of the pure" as they call it....reminds me of "Iran".

Listen closely to what she says in this video and see if you notice anything odd.

The message, as the dialogue proposal made in October, was unprecedented because there has n ot been until now such a large group of Islamic scholars that could draft a common letter.

On October 13^th 2006, one month to the day after Pope Benedict XVI’s Regensburg address of September 13^th 2006, 38 Islamic authorities and scholars from around the world, representing all denominations and schools of thought, joined together to deliver an answer to the Pope in the spirit of open intellectual exchange and mutual understanding. In their Open Letter to the Pope (see english.pdf), for the first time in recent history, Muslim scholars from every branch of Islam spoke with one voice about the true teachings of Islam.

Now, exactly one year after that letter, Muslims have expanded their message. Why do people make fun of fruitcake?

Fruitcake is food for thought.

And, with a handful of large U.S. bakers alone selling more than 6 million pounds of the stuff during the holidays, there's a lot to go around.

Some receivers revel in the fare while others use the cakes as doorstops, toss them in the garbage or regift them.

However, this butt of holiday jokes can be viewed as a veritable brick of plenty for sciences including metallurgy, geology, composite materials and psychology (read on...)

Trouble leaving comments

Hey guys,

First I want to apologize for not responding to comments or emails lately. I've been really busy working and tending to personal matters that required my attention desperately, so please bear with me.  Just two more weeks like this before I can go back to my regular routine and start pestering you like ususal.

And if you're having problems leaving comments, please know that a lot of people are having the same problem, myself included.  Sometimes I don't even get the error message, I just get a blank page. I usually refresh the page and then the comment gets posted twice.  I don't know why this happens, I've complained about it a few times hoping it'll get fixed, but the problem keeps persisting.

It seems to me that people who are registered with Typepad/Typekey don't have that problem, so maybe we can try signing in and see if that works better.
