The previous post by Nouri reminded me of what I found out after reading Irina's post the other day. Irina was discussing the weird keywords people use doing searches on the net and end up on her blog. I took a look at visitor stats on this blog and my previous one and was surprised to see how many people link to my blogs looking for stuff on Shakira. There were several searches on "Shakira's religion"....those of you who are interested to know, she's not a Muslim, she's Roman Catholic.

I was wondering why the sudden interest in her religion, so I started doing searches on her biography and latest news. None of the biographies I found mentioned her religion and then I went to Wikipedia and found this.
Recently the media has reported that Oral Fixation Vol. 2 has been censored in Egypt, the Middle East. Many Muslim nations have banned the song "How Do You Do" because of its lyrical content in which Shakira questions God. The song has been taken out of the album, and the cover has also been altered. Shakira appears behind a bush and is covered from her shoulders down, whereas her stomach is exposed in the North American and European LP cover editions. "Timor" is a political song relating to social issues.

I thought it was these couple of posts I made about her latest CD last month that brought some of those visitors, but now I'm thinking it's probably Islamists checking to see if she's being a bad Muslim so they can lash out at her, but who knows.
I went back to analyzing my stats and found that this Islam Awareness Homepage copied my open letter to Hirsi Ali from my other blog and placed it under the category Anti Muslim Writers>Ayaan Hirsi Ali. I was like WTF????
I still don't know what to think of this.
And then I found this site which has my blog confused with Irina's and now I'm sure Irina will hate my guts when she finds out. Myrtus is Muslim and Irina is Jewish but they have us listed under "Frum 'n Cool Blogs" like this: Myrtus by Irina Tsukerman. From what I can see it looks like a list of blogs with Jewish background, unless this is just a friendly way of saying hey welcome anyway, we don't care if you're not Jewish....but I'm telling you Irina is NOT going to like it. (;
I was like hmm what the heck is "Frum" anyway, so I did another search on Wikipedia and lo 'n behold I stumbled on the person who coined one of my favorite terms....."AXIS OF EVIL".
Frum is widely cited as having authored the phrase "axis of evil," which he discusses in his book.
