Can I just say something?
I generally stay away from bloggers who pretend to be unbiased in their politics, especially those who constantly beat down on MSM pretending they don't want anything to do with it, while in reality they are just as bad or even worse.
Michelle Malkin is one of those bloggers I'm talking about. I don't read her blog nearly enough to conclude that she's a hate spreading warmonger, but I do want to point out that just in the last few days she made a couple of posts that drew my attention, making me think that she's not being truthful at the very least.
The first post I noticed was the 2 minute video that I linked to here. It includes images of Dutch politician Pim Fortuyn and a blurb saying: Fortuyn killer "acted for Muslims".
From everything that I heard and read about the Fortuyn murder, his killer was some Dutch anarchist/animal rights activist who claimed that he acted solely on his own behalf because he was strongly opposed to Fortuyn's politics. If he changed his mind later on, I don't know, but as far as I know he had nothing to do with Islam.
I didn't bother to point this out earlier when I linked to Malkin's video because the point I was trying to make was that it doesn't matter how we Muslims defend ourselves with our own convictions regarding right and wrong, at this point in time it's how the rest of the world views us and Michelle's video demonstrates exactly that, so we need to take action to do OUR part in the battle against evil stemming from political Islam. In other words, the best way to defend ourselves is by doing our own share in counteracting Islamic terror and barbary. I don't care how you do it, just DO IT....as long as there is no violence and hatred involved.
Michelle says:
Well, okay then, CNN. You won't publish "negative caricatures." But as I noted last night on Fox News, three of the Danish cartoons were positive, neutral, completely innocuous caricatures. See (click for larger image):
One of these three cartoons she's referring to has horns sticking out of his turban, but I guess Michelle sees this as positive, neutral, completely innocuous........oh well!
Michelle Malkin says:
Because of this unwillingness to preface my arguments with Kleenex-wetting clauses, I am invariably accused of being motivated first and solely by hatred, bigotry, racism, sexism, whatever-ism--whether the topic is the mechanics of immigration enforcement or national security profiling or the spread of radical Islam.
To Michelle I say, here is another accusation:
Not that you'd care or anything, but I might start believing you once you stop using the same methods of reporting as that lousy MSM which you're so eager to dismiss. Oh wait, maybe you're not an honest to goodness reporter after all, maybe you're just a blogger with selective reasoning, catering to a select audience that thrives on sensation, while dismissing the few who dare to question your motives. Your one-sided biased reporting/blogging is astounding!
