Whoopi Goldberg proves that Bill O'Reilly is an ignorant baffoon

Hah you tell em Whoopi! Someone ought to set this dodo straight, so it might as well be you.

Truth is, we have a Bill O'Reilly problem in the world!  Unfortunately there's seems to be a pandemic of ignorance like his going on around the world and the worst part about it is, it's intentional and by design.  Can't get any worse than that.

To be honest, O'Reilly used to sound somewhat intelligent at one time....a long long time ago.  Then he morphed into this arrogant, annoying, uncivilized talking head, who clearly enjoys his gift of blab as a professional bigot/agitator, with little or no substance at all. 

It is unfair and a grave injustice to Muslims all over the world to attribute terror attacks committed in conflict zones due to political upheaval, such as Israel/Palestine, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan and various other areas around the world as Islamic Terror, not to mention the fact that in those conflict zones, the overwhelming majority of the victims are Muslims themselves.

When terror attacks in the name of Islam are committed elsewhere in the world, then by all means yes, classify them as Islamic terror.  But even then, when you look at the facts from various sources, Islamic terror hardly stacks up against various other extremist terror groups, which are often homegrown nonetheless. 

Leave it to the media to shift blame.  When a Muslim commits a crime they never fail to mention his religion and/or ethinc origin on the front page news.  When others commit a crime, oh well, it's just another statistic, no ethnic or religious sterotyping, plus they'll be lucky to make the news, let alone the front page. 

If we really want to solve the problem, let's concentrate on the bad guys and stop alienation of all Muslims based on the actions of the few.

When even Secretary of State Hillary Clinton thinks it's hilarious, nobody in their right mind should accept this invasive procedure of a pat-down by the TSA!  Makes Homeland security look like a joke, and everyone is laughing about it.....besides being annoyed.  Pretty weird huh?

This time it's Newsweek vs Hindus!

Should make one wonder, which is more powerful and influential, religion or the mainstream media?

Politicians conveniently use/abuse both to leverage power.

Exactly why do we allow this to happen?

And why are Hindus being targeted this time?

An Indian-American group has expressed outrage at Newsweek magazine for depicting President Obama as the Hindu deity Lord Shiva the destroyer on its recent cover.

Obama, fresh off a visit to India, is shown with multiple arms juggling issues from his administration as he balances on one leg.

The headline reads 'God of All Things' with the subtitle, 'Why the Modern Presidency May be too Much for One Person to Handle'.

Eid text message from a stranger

This morning I received a text message from a stranger with a Chicago area code, apparently intended for someone named "Hamo", so I'd like to pass it on in case he happens to land on this page by pure chance.

Stranger:

"No shadows to depress u.

Only joys to surround u.

God himself to bless u.

These r my wishes for u.

Today, tomorrow and every day.

Eid Mubarek"

Me:

"A very happy and blessed Eid to you too stranger!

Even if I have no clue who you are. :)"

Stranger:

"Hamo man sta ima?"

Me:

"sorry friend, you honestly have the wrong number.

I hope you find your friend.

Have a wonderful holiday"

Stranger:

"alright, thanks."

I probably should have said something more cheerful to brighten his day, but I was barely awake when I got the message.  At first I thought, aww what a lovely thing to say, obviously someone who cares about me....but then I didn't recognize the number. 

Still a nice way to start my day, so thank you stranger! :)

I've never heard of "Spice" till my daughter asked me about it today.  She said it's something people smoke and everybody is talking about it.  I told her I've heard about "Liquid Cocaine", but "Spice"....no. 

So naturally I had to Google it to satisfy my curiosity and found loads of information on it, mostly warning people for its dangerous effects and its growing popularity among teenagers.

I thought I better pass this on to help raise awareness on this harmful, but legal substance that's widely available to everyone, regardless of age.
